Marcela Dolores Farrer Provides 20-Minute Recipes to Make Your Life Easier
As a professional podiatrist, Marcela Dolores Farrer, understands what it’s like to try to squeeze in a healthy meal under time constraints. In order to help her readers, Marcela Dolores Farrer provides some quick recipes that can be prepared in 20-minutes or less.
Cobb Salad – The great thing about a cobb salad is that the hardest prep work is the homemade dressing – and that’s easy! In order to make homemade dressing, all you need is red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and olive oil in a mason jar. You just shake it up and you have your dressing prepared. From there, all that needs to be cooked is crispy bacon, hard-boiled eggs, and the chicken breast. From there, you just need to cut up avocado and tomato and throw on whatever shredded cheese your heart desires.
Caprese Zoodles – You won’t miss carbs at all with Caprese zoodles. Dolores Farrer recommends a spiralizer as it will make creating zoodles out of zucchini easy. All you need to add to zoodles after seasoned olive oil, salt, and pepper is tomatoes, mozzarella and basil.
Garlic Butter Turkey Meatballs – While preheating an oven to 350 degrees, get a large bowl and stir ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan, onion, egg, garlic parsley, chives, and milk. Each meat mixture should be formed into 1 ½ inch balls. Over a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. After 4 minutes of searing on all sides, you just add chicken broth, cover the skillet and give it six more minutes.
